Inroduction:

Kebbi Contributory Healthcare Scheme (KECHES) which is established by the Kebbi Contributory Healthcare Management Agency Law No 002 of 2018, is a system of pre-paid financing of health expenditure through contributions, premiums, donations or taxes paid into a common pool to pay for all or part of health services specified by the policy. The Agency was established in May, 2019 with sole responsibility of managing the Kebbi Contributory Healthcare Scheme (KECHES).

To ensure that all people and communities in Kebbi State have access to needed health services of good quality at an affordable cost without the risk of financial hardship linked to paying for care.
